The County Club is lucky to be lent some of Guildford's most prestigous artwork.

Paintings and sculptures may be found hanging on the Club walls, gently integrated with paintings and drawings of Guildford through the ages. The artwork is regularly changed but here are some examples of what you might find should you pay us a visit.

Ruth Netherton

Allison Graham

Click to enlargeAllison Graham donated this picture of Shalford Mill. This Acrylic depicts the 18th century watermill where the late Brian Bagnall, a prominent Club member of long standing, lived for more than 50 years. This painting was featured in the 2007 Guildford calendar for May. Allison is also a Club member.

Sue Jelley

Click to enlargeWe are lucky to have some of Sue Jelley's artwork hanging in
the club. At the head of the Carroll Suite sits the MAD HATTER,
which was kindly donated to the Club in May 2006.

Nola Armstrong

Nola specialises in floral work with an impressionistic style and a dramatic use of colour.

Faith Winter

Click to enlargeFaith works from her studio in Puttenham near Guildford. Her
first exhibition of work was at the age of 19 at the Royal Academy. Now her work is international, including commissions by the Royal Family. If you are in Guildford close to The County Club you will come across the George Abbot sculpture created by Faith in 1993.
